The Ontario native has had a successful career in both WWE and TNA, amassing 22 major championships reigns and becoming a Triple Crown and Grand Slam champion. However, recent years have been full of injuries for Captain Charisma, with torn pectoral muscles, an ankle injury and repetitive shoulder injuries limiting his in-ring time. In March, he became number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship, which never came to fruition due to a concussion. Since then, Christian has commentated on various pay-per-view pre-shows and occasionally brought back his Peep Show segments. WWE officials reportedly see him as too fragile to wrestle, so perhaps Christians future is in broadcasting. A good talker, he has a great understanding of the industry and a passion to match. For Christmas, he deserves a permanent role in commentary.
