Time to revisit the Best In The World again, because I can’t let an article like this go without mentioning CM Punk’s brief but perfect Triple H impression from the worked shoot confrontation between the two men on 1 August 2011’s RAW.

For those interested in the full segment, you can find it here - it’s of a little historical value, considering the real life words that have passed between Punk and the Game since then.

I love the fact that Punk isn’t doing a riff on the more clichéd elements of Triple H’s promo delivery, like The Rock’s impersonation of him from 2000. This is him doing Paul Levesque in conversation - you can tell he’s pulled it off a fair few times in private to be able to fire it off so convincingly, probably to amuse the boys on the road.

Punk’s got a rare gift for this kind of thing, though. In this interview from way back before he signed with the WWE, back when he was a Ring Of Honor stalwart, he tells a story - with assistance from Samoa Joe - of an hilarious prank call on former ROH booker Gabe Sapolsky, which relied upon his pitch perfect impression of then ROH performer Homicide.
