12 Huge AEW All Out Predictions You Need To Know
1. Hangman Page Vs. Chris Jericho
Hangman Page vs. Chris Jericho hasn't quite been heated up to the level many fans would like after the nightmare that was Fight For The Fallen, where fans chanted "thank you, Jericho!" as he bloodied Page, the supposed babyface, after a lacklustre victory over Kip Sabian.
The immediate follow-up saw Page tear his own stitches from his eyebrow in a badass Being The Elite promo. Since then? Nothing more than a handful of promotional spots on AEW's weekly YouTube shows, none of which have built the level of heat AEW need for their first World Championship match. A shame, though these concerns could easily be overcome with an awesome match on the night.
Both men have a case for victory: for Jericho, he's easily the company's biggest mainstream name and therefore a natural choice to carry AEW through its first few months of television, while Hangman is seemingly being set up as the future ace. In this case, the younger wrestler would benefit from a longer chase before becoming World Champion. This might not have been the case if not for the events of Fight For The Fallen, but them's the breaks. Page might not be ready yet.
Winner: Chris Jericho.
