12 Huge AEW All Out Predictions You Need To Know
6. Cody Vs. Shawn Spears
What a joy the build to this match has been.
The Fyter Fest chairshot going wrong added oodles of heat to a bout informed by years of WWE developmental history, and Shawn Spears followed up with a smart pinfall on Darby Allin (the man Cody couldn't put away at Fyter) at Fight for the Fallen. The former Tye Dillinger has since brought in Tully Blanchard and his decades of history with the Rhodes family. As sinister and foreboding as ever, the former Four Horseman has taken Spears' act to the next level. Here's hoping his involvement with AEW doesn't end at All Out.
Fight For The Fallen aside, Cody has proven himself an AEW show-stealer thus far. His is a simple, high-drama style of wrestling, and he excels at it, with Double Or Nothing's clash with brother Dustin still amongst 2019's most acclaimed matches and the Allin encounter overdelivering as well. He got a little overindulgent while facing The Young Bucks at Fight For The Fallen, though few would bet against him delivering again on Saturday.
As far as the outcome goes, it's still too early for the heel to take a decisive loss...
Winner: Shawn Spears.
