12 Huge AEW All Out Predictions You Need To Know
5. Lucha Brothers Vs. The Young Bucks
This bout's health depends on Rey Fenix's.
This past weekend brought worrying reports that the Mexican standout had suffered an undisclosed injury while competing on an independent show on Friday night. He made the rest of the week's bookings, though the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer wrote that Fenix was limited to basic wrestling and brawling. Not exactly what you want to hear a week before one of the year's most eye-popping tag team matches.
If he recovers, then great, we have a banger of a ladder match on our hands. If he doesn't, Pentagon Jr. and The Young Bucks will need to be creative to work around Rey's limitations.
It's a shame, because this clash has all the hallmarks of a show-stealer, and should give the Bucks and Lucha Brothers the opportunity to finally settle their beef. This'll be their fourth AAA World Tag Team Championship battle of 2019. Matt and Nick Jackson hold the advantage with the gold and a 2-1 two-on-two record vs. Penta and Fenix at the moment and though Fenix's health may impact the outcome, the time feels right for the Bucks to give their opponents the AEW rub.
Winners: Lucha Brothers.
