12 HUGE WWE Clash Of Champions 2019 Predictions You Need To Know

11. Shinsuke Nakamura (c) Vs. The Miz

There's everything and nothing going on here, which places the result in doubt even if the match itself almost certainly flatters to deceive.

Babyface Miz hasn't really recovered from his multiple losses to Shane McMahon earlier this year, whilst Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura is the latest in an almost endless line of performers to hold that belt and not matter a jot more than they did before. His budding relationship with bothersome b*stard Sami Zayn shows promise, but the engine of their new union requires wins for fuel. And this might be the 'A Lister's evening for reasons beyond what the characters are up to.

With victory here, Miz will equal now-AEW World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho's record number of reigns, and within weeks of winning it would make history as the man to spend more time with it than anybody else. He's also the last to give it any prestige, which characters literally speak of doing every time they win the thing. All of this is happening, and if it doesn't here, it means these two are going more than one pay-per-view, and who would possibly want that?

Winner - The Miz
