Last in this article because of where it should go on on the show itself, the triple threat Women's Championship match again advertises how much ground the topline females currently have over their male counterparts.

This battle comprises two of the best women's singles matches of the year, the hottest character in the entire company, an immediately rehabilitated new threat and a scenario in which all three performers could technically end 2018 with the title.

This is a predictions piece, so here's a prediction; Nia Jax, p*ssed off at her quickfire loss earlier in the night, strolls out whilst Becky Lynch climbs the ladder and punches her hard in the face off the ladder and out of the match. An Asuka kick to Charlotte's head frees up the 'Empress Of Tomorrow' to claim her first main roster singles title, allowing both Flair and Lynch a participatory place in the Royal Rumble as she awaits a WrestleMania rival.

None of the above may be remotely close, such is the joy of this encounter. All three could take it, and it's genuinely sad all three can't. Savour the moment - this is what WWE can still be when the stakes feature stars.

Winner - Asuka
