http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x13e15m_the-rock-vs-john-cena-wrestlemania-28-full-match_sport A cross-generational battle between one of the biggest stars of the Attitude Era and the unquestioned leader of the PG Era, the battle between The Rock and John Cena was a year in the making and resulted in the highest pay-per-view buyrate in World Wrestling Entertainment history. And rightfully so. For months, Rock and Cena sparred verbally, exchanging insults with one another in a manner usually reserved for boxers or MMA fighters. There were clearly personal issues between them and it absolutely captivated the audience. Over 70,000 fans jam-packed Sun Life Stadium in Miami for the epic clash and were not disappointed by the truly awe-inspiring main event they were presented with. Pomp and circumstance reigned supreme early as rapper Machine Gun Kelly performed his hit, "Invincible" and told the story of the underdog Cena. The more flashy Flo Rida performed "Good Feeling" and "Wild Ones" in honor of The Rock. Once the elaborate pre-match festivities wrapped up, all attention turned to the center of the ring, where Cena and Rock came face-to-face in one of the memorable stare downs WWE captures so perfectly. The match was every bit as epic as the build that preceded it. Neither man every gained full control of the match, outside of an early portion in which Cena targeted his opponent's ribs and midsection, leaving fans to wonder just who would win and when the elusive pinfall would occur. Like two of the best wrestlers of all-time would, Rock and Cena withstood one another's trademark offense, kicking out of signature moves and even surviving their finishing moves. Late in the match, Rock came off the top rope with a high cross body block but was caught by Cena, who rolled through and delivered the Attitude Adjustment. The Great One kicked out, stunning Cena. Never one to allow himself to become too shaken, however, Cena saw an opportunity to mock his rival and set off into the ropes for the People's Elbow. Unbeknownst to him, Rock made it to his feet, caught the former WWE champion coming in and planted him with the Rock Bottom. Three seconds later, the Most Electrifying Man in Sports-Entertainment was declared the winner of the biggest match of his and Cena's careers. The match was absolutely everything a fan could have wanted. It combined the spectacle of the Showcase of the Immortals with the great wrestling fans have come to expect from the event. Most importantly, if delivered on the hype and provided the audience with a brand new moment that will live forever in the annals of WrestleMania history.
