Plenty of wrestlers could fumble their way through a guitar solo when warranted. Man Mountain Rock adequately shredded his way through a short run in the WWF, for instance.

But only Van Hammer carried one to the ring and never managed to carry a tune along with it. Hell, he couldn't even consistently support a single genre, as he wandered away from heavy metal as soon as they coined him "Heavy Metal" Van Hammer.

At least Titus O'Neal tried to play that stupid banjo this week. Van Hammer never played anything resembling a lick on TV before fumbling his way through a match.

In the annals of Vans in music, Van Hammer is more Van Vader than Van Halen.
