12 Most Boring WrestleMania Matches Of All Time
4. Lex Luger vs. Yokozuna - WrestleMania X
Luger faced Yokozuna so he could take the WWF Championship through to the main event against Bret 'The Hitman' Hart in a match that is remembered more for Mr Perfect turning up in his special referees pyjamas than anything that happened in the ring.
Lex spent most of his time in nerve holds as Yoko slowed the tempo down before eventually hitting a bionic elbow and getting himself disqualified by putting his hands on referee Perfect who refused to count. It was a finish that was as anticlimactic as the match was boring.
At this time, Luger was the Roman Reigns of the then WWF. He had the machine behind him and there was seemingly nothing that could stop The Lex Express' ascension to the top of the card.
Step up Bret Hart, the mid 90s' Daniel Bryan. His popularity forced WWE's top brass to rethink their ideas and take a shift in direction.
Luger's disqualification in this match saw his time at the top of the card come to an end. The match itself acted as vindication for this move. Utterly terrible.
