12 Most Boring WrestleMania Matches Of All Time

6. Jake 'The Snake' Roberts vs. Rick Martel - WrestleMania VII

It is not uncommon to see a heated riailry come to a head at WrestleMania. Countless times we have seen some of the biggest feuds in WWE history get settled on the biggest stage of the all in a gimmick match. From Michaels vs. Hart in an Iron Man Match to Austin vs. The Hitman in a submission match, throwing two rivals with the added twist of a stipulation is a tried and trusted formular for success. Not in The Snake and Martel's case however. The pair were put in the more than uncompromising position of a blindfold match, which did make sense in all fairness as Martel sprayed Roberts in the eyes with his "Arrogance" cologne and severely compromised his vision. The match itself was nothing short of a farce, which it was always going to be. Even though WWE's fanbase is portrayed as the lowest of the low by the majority of the media, there is only a certain amount of slapstick that works inside the ring before the Universe starts looking down its collective nose at the competitors in the ring. The pair stumbled around the ring for long periods before they bumped into each other, allowing Roberts to hit the DDT for the win. The pair were backed into a corner with the blindfold stipulation, but what they put on was nothing short of, you guessed it, boring. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2hsfmz
