The brutally awful concoction of wrestling and boxing has never worked. After this match took place in 1986, it is a wonder that the powers that be decided to host the Attitude Era's 'shoot' Brawl For All competition at all. Piper and T were keen not to hurt each other from the get go. It was clear that the shots landed by both men didn't have any sort of force behind them, and considering this bout went the full distance, it was painful viewing towards the end. You would have thought the storyline heading into the match would have been enough to get it over. Piper and T hated each other, legitimately, and they both had boxing backgrounds before their respective WWE runs. Even the great Muhammad Ali was drafted in as the special guest referee. This coupled with Messrs Hogan and Orton Snr at ringside meant the match couldn't fail. Surely? Well it did. The sheer length of the bout and the lackadaisical action during it means it is well deserved of a place on this countdown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SePDXQL8EX0&t=841
