2. Johnny Curtis
Former NXT winner Johnny Curtis didn't get the kind of push he had hoped for when he made the transition to WWE. Apparently, he was promised a tag team title shot alongside R-Truth, but that was squelched once R-Truth turned heel. Also, WWE fans were supposed to know all of this, despite Curtis never being seen on WWE television. Cut to the June 3rd, 2011 episode of Smackdown where audiences see the most confusing backstage cutscene of all time. In what WWE writers thought passed for a shoot promo, Curtis told fans he was disappointed with his stagnancy in the company and said he would proceed to do "what any WWE superstar would do." He then presented a gallon of milk and a large saucer to the camera. And then he performed the very literal act of crying over spilled milk. Then, for reasons unclear to anyone without a PhD in psychology, he poured some of the milk over his head and stared straight into the camera, as if waiting for the crowd to go, "Ohhhh, now I get it." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONEtnA7zC18 Not surprisingly, Curtis underwent an almost immediate reboot and reemerged as a character named Fandango, so as to wipe the taste of that weird promo out of everyone's mouth.
