12 Most Memorable WrestleMania Returns Of All Time

7. The Ultimate Warrior - WrestleManias VIII, XII, And XXX

If anybody€™s made a living out of returning at WrestleMania, it€™s The Ultimate Warrior. Ultimate Warrior had not been heard from since Summerslam 1991, after a dispute with Vince McMahon over Pay Per View royalties led to his release. Vince has long been enamored with the Warrior character, so it wasn€™t long before he rehired Warrior, and not a moment too soon, as the WWF€™s biggest superstar, Hulk Hogan, would be taking an extended hiatus from the company. The Warrior made his surprise return at WrestleMania VIII at the conclusion of the Hulk Hogan/Sid Justice main event. Papa Shango had missed his cue to interfere and cause a disqualification, so he trotted down the long entranceway after the match was over. Suddenly, Warrior€™s music hit, and the place exploded. He cleared the ring and celebrated with Hogan to end the show. Warrior wouldn€™t survive with the company past Survivor Series that year. Vince again turned to Warrior when things looked bleak in 1996, as they were directly competing with rival WCW. Warrior returned at WrestleMania 12 and squashed Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Again, Warrior€™s return was short-lived, as he was released before he could even get to Summerslam. Warrior€™s final WrestleMania return was this past year at 30, when he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Unfortunately (and bizarrely, considering the timing), Warrior passed away two days later.
