12 Opponents Brock Lesnar Needs To Face

1. Daniel Bryan

Yes! Of course Daniel Bryan was going to be at the top of this list. Yes! Fans were dying to see this match as the main event of Wrestlemania 31. And Yes!, fans are still dying to see the ultimate underdog Bryan go up against €œThe Beast Incarnate€ Brock Lesnar. A Bryan/Lesnar match at Mania 31 would€™ve wrote itself. You€™ve got the hugely popular underdog returning from a career-threatening injury, who never lost his WWE Championship, looking to get himself back to Wrestlemania and to reclaim his gold. Standing in his way is the unstoppable, brutal, destructive Brock Lesnar. For whatever reason, the WWE decided against that money-making route, instead sticking to their guns and putting Roman Reigns in the main event spot against Brock. Still, fans want to see Bryan and Lesnar square off. These are two guys who are excellent in the ring. And even though Lesnar is revered for his power and size, he€™s also an impressive technical wrestler when allowed to showcase it in matches with the likes of Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit. D-Bry could have those same sort of encounters with Brock. The dream scenario would be for Lesnar to be the nasty, cocky heel who is looking to keep the smaller babyface down, although that route may have to be held off on for a while due to Brock€™s popularity. Whether it€™s a heel Lesnar vs a babyface Bryan, a babyface Lesnar vs a heel Bryan, or even a babyface vs babyface match, a match between Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar has to happen at some point. It would make a great main event for Summerslam this year, although it depends on how things play out for Lesnar in the aftermath of this year€™s Wrestlemania. Regardless, we need to see this match!
