12 Perfect Ways To Retire Current WWE Gimmicks (And How)
7. Tyler Breeze
I know, I know. Tyler Breeze just debuted on the main roster. Thus, it's easy to say that he has no problem with his gimmick and he should be able to get over, right? Wrong. A bad guy with a selfie stick gets over in NXT because it's a cute and relevant character quirk that feels unique. However, on the main roster, where performers with multiple dimensions to their character get the opportunity to grow and evolve, Breeze is missing everything to do that. There's an easy solution, though. I like the idea of actually having the very first feud for Tyler Breeze end with a "selfie stick" match between Dolph and Breeze. Yes, this is up there with putting Judy Bagwell on a forklift or fighting over Japanese shampoo contracts, but, yeah, it goes somewhere. Tyler Breeze being a guy who just believes he's hot because his HOT GIRLFRIEND TELLS HIM HE'S HOT works. In a similar manner to Shawn Michaels losing his full length mirror, Breeze has to lose that selfie stick ASAP in order to evolve as a performer and hit the next level.
