The biggest factor behind a possible return to MMA for Brock Lesnar was thought to be money. With the WWE not really at the number it really wanted for WWE Network subscriptions, and Lesnar making a lot of money to work part-time, it was thought that the WWE might not be able to afford their current champion. However, in January, the WWE announced it had hit a million subscribers, which is sort of a magic number for them. It also means that, financially, things are looking a little better. Which in turn means re-signing the man who is arguably their biggest cross-over star is now, once again, best for business.
