12 Reasons John Cena Vs Roman Reigns Will Happen At WrestleMania 32

8. Cena Needs Reigns

John Cena is a little without purpose right now in WWE. He's still the biggest star on the shows, but he's having to make do with midcard berths. That isn't a bad thing, as it is helping to elevate the US Title, but in the long term it is just a stop gap to John being back in the main event title scene. Except he needs a reason for WWE to make him champion again. A sixteenth reign doesn't really achieve anything unless it has a bigger picture involved. That bigger picture is Roman Reigns. Cena can become champion again, serving as the star maker for the next champ. This is John's opportunity to do something really big, with little other major options open to him. He had no problem working with Bray Wyatt and Rusev at the last two Mania shows, but there's little doubt that he wants a meatier main event in 2016.
