Brock Lesnar may have defeated Goldberg for the Universal Title at WrestleMania, but there were still lingering doubts about whether or not it would actually signal the end of Goldberg's tenure in WWE.

Well, that was decisively confirmed on Raw, with Lesnar and Paul Heyman summarily burying him before moving on to consider Brock's other potential future challengers, such as Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor and even the Hardyz.

Goldberg being done was compounded by an off-air retirement speech of sorts after the main show ended, where he near enough confirmed that this was it. Though there was a fun novelty aspect to Goldberg coming back, it's time to move onto new challengers, and Raw thankfully confirmed that beyond any doubt.
