10. Curt Hawkins Keeping His Hand In

FCW's three-ring warehouse ultimately inspired the process that exists to this day in NXT - the splitting of wrestlers by skill sets allowed for each group to get the training most relevant to their needs. It was because of this that Curt Hawkins saw the promotion as an opportunity rather than a relegation.

Discussing his downward career trajectory at the time, Hawkins noted that he was a man without a country after his split from Zack Ryder and the complete dissolution of the Edgeheads unit. He was only too happy to outwork everybody else and sharpen his skills whilst waiting for another crack at main roster success.
