In what could be a link up with the last point, maybe Sting will also appear on Sunday. Maybe Taker's involvement at Battleground is in fact to set up the dream Sting / Taker bout at SummerSlam. Taker would make the challenge, and Sting would answer the call. It would be a blockbuster segment. If it isn't Taker and Sting working together, there's still a decent chance that the WCW Icon could show up elsewhere on the Battleground card. He's definitely working at SummerSlam, Dave Meltzer confirmed that on wrestling observer radio. So it would absolutely make sense to have him return in some sort of shock angle at Battleground, setting up his big August match whatever it may be. Coming out with that trusty baseball bat, maybe he'll go after somebody like Bray Wyatt.
