8. He Nearly Played In The NFL
After leaving the WWE in March 2004, Lesnar pursued a career in the National Football League, the toughest professional American football league in the world. Lesnar realised that if he wanted to make it in football, he would have to do try while he was young and so he quit the WWE while he was still on top. Plus, he was also growing weary of the demanding travel schedule and constant aches and pains. He had a great showing at the NFL Scouting Combine and impressed with his undeniable speed and power and he made the practice team for the Minnesota Vikings. Not long after, Lesnar was involved in an accident when a minivan collided with his motorbike and he was left with several injuries. He recovered in time for the Vikings training camp but was cut at the end of the pre-season. He did receive an invitation to play in the European NFL league but decline as he wanted to stay closer to his family.
