12 Things We Just Learned About Brock Lesnar's UFC Fight From Paul Heyman
4. What About The Theme?
As part of the deal taking Lesnar to UFC 200, it was reported that his theme tune was also going with him...
...But strangely, Heyman seemed to somewhat question the idea that it was set in stone. Or at least question the validity of the question, when it's pretty much no more than a distraction to the main event.
He says Lesnar is aware of the interest around the event, including his theme and his choice of walkout gear, and that he finds the obsession amusing:
"For me, that report came out and when I discussed that report with Brock, he felt that it was... everybody trying to find out any piece of information regarding his appearance on July 9th in the Octagon. Brock finds it funny that there's such a big deal being made of his walkout gear, that he's going to be wearing the walkout gear featuring Canada instead of the United States - he finds it very funny. The only thing that Brock Lesnar is concerned about when it comes to his fight with Mark Hunt is stepping in the Octagon and fighting Mark Hunt, so when I discussed it with Brock, his public stance on it was 'tune in July 9th and find out' and I don't want to go against what Brock Lesnar would like disseminated to the public. I did read the report and Brock finds it all very funny, because he thinks it makes people lose focus on what the real question is, which is who's getting knocked out or tapped out - is it Brock Lesnar or Mark Hunt and we're going to find out on July 9th."
