Braun says that the recruitment process was rather short and sweet, and Austin wants to know how he felt going from the vastly different world of powerlifting to pro wrestling, and where his confidence level was.

Strowman says he walked in with the confidence that he had a lot to offer, and that he knew there weren't a lot of people built like him with his personality. He says that nothing was given to him and he was pushed hard in order to make sure he really wanted it, and he liked that because he's never wanted anything handed to him.

Outside of some brief amateur wrestling experience and hamming it up at strongman competitions he had zero background in what it takes to be a sports entertainer and went in with the attitude that he knew he'd be starting from scratch and would have to prove himself.
