12 Things We Learned From Justin Gabriel On Talk Is Jericho

3. The Nexus Invasion

Chris Jericho has made it known in multiple past podcasts how much of a fan he was of the night the NXT rookies invaded Raw. Black talks about the unscripted nature of the original NXT competition, and how they were thrown out on their own to sink or swim. He says that it was almost like a shoot, in the sense that they all had to stick together which forced them to live the gimmick, and they were treated like typical rookies, being made to change in broom closets and whatnot. PJ echoes the comments of the other Nexus guys by saying that they were told what was going to happen on the day of, with Vince telling them just to go out there, attack guys and create chaos and destruction. Jericho calls it one of the best surprises and angles in the modern WWE era, and PJ says that all the fans say it's "the best heel faction ever." Come on, PJ. The Nexus was cool and all, but it wasn't on par with The Four Horsemen and The nWo.
