Eight entries after Spike had failed to successfully make it to the ring, another poor soul found his dreams of headlining WrestleMania dashed. Chris Benoit, Randy Orton, and Kurt Angle were fighting it out in the ring, awaiting the arrival of number 21. Test's excellent entrance music played, but Stephanie McMahon's former fiancé was nowhere to be found.

That was because the former Intercontinental Champion was lying in a heap in the backstage area. Sheriff Austin was quick on the scene, quick enough to inform Test's assailant that they were to take the former Corporate Insurance Policy's place in the match. The attacker turned out to be none other than Mick Foley.

This didn't please Orton too much, and Foley headed out to the ring to confront his major foe at the time. Foley eliminated Orton, eliminating himself in the process, ending The Legend Killer's 33 minute stay in the match. The real number 21 entrant had no idea that all of this was happening.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
