What He Was: Originally brought into TNA in his early 20s as a gladiator type character, he moved into a team with The British Invasion, and later broke out on his own again. After being under-appreciated for years, he was shot to the top of the company probably before fans were ready to accept him in a top slot (like Eric Young and Chris Sabin). Since then, hes been pushed back into the mid-card with Bram in a pairing that doesnt seem to quite fit. What He Should Have Been: Protected as the World Champion. After defeating Sting, TNA shot him into a top spot where he won the World Heavyweight Title in a match against Jeff Hardy. After that, he basically took a backseat to Dixie Carter (much like Randy Orton did to Stephanie McMahon and Hunter), and was booked very weak. Instead of having the spotlight shone on him, he was a glorified henchmen. You can imagine if TNA did go under, Magnus would be WWEs top (perhaps only) pick to sign.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
