12 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Dynamite (23 Nov - Review)

9. Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland Keep It Private

Another quick and easy backstage segment here, with Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland literally palming the camera away for their awkward conversation, opting instead to have it in private.

Lee decided he'd finally had enough of Swerve at Full Gear, turning his back on his partner and effectively costing them the World Tag Team Championships. Lee, who would believably have stayed away from Swerve all week, barely wanted to speak with him here - and only consented to it without the cameras.

This character dynamic deserves more time. It looks like it's about to get that. The Acclaimed's natural, organic rise and explosion in popularity is one side of the tag division's supremacy at the moment, with this the other.
