7. Jake Hager Loves His Hat, But Loses To Orange Cassidy

Comedy is subjective, doubly so in professional wrestling, so there's little wrong with not enjoying an All-Atlantic Championship match centered largely around men trying to put a purple hat on. Subjectively, it isn't for this reviewer - but it'd be wrong to argue against its existence when it is so over.

The point of wrestling is to engage the crowd. Orange Cassidy and Jake Hager did then tenfold, working comedy spots around moments of genuine craft on their contrasting strengths and weaknesses, with the Jericho Appreciation Society, Best Friends, and Rocky Romero as the supporting cast.

Once the comedy subsided, good counter-wrestling led to the eventual finish, with finishing moves and signatures dodged, countered and finally executed. An Orange Punch preceded the Cazadora, the pin of which led to another successful defence for Cassidy.

And a great post-match angle. More on that later.
