12 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Feb 26)

Ups...

12. Everybody Dies

Lance Archer
AEW

Yesterday brought the news that Lance Archer had officially inked a deal with AEW, ending weeks of speculation following Sports Illustrated's January report that the two parties were in "high-level talks." Last night, on Dynamite, we got confirmation that 'The American Psycho' will debut in Denver, Colorado next week and baby, it's time to get hyped.

Archer is, at minimum, one of the three best working big men in wrestling today. He's joining AEW after a breakout year in NJPW in which he starred in a tremendous G1 Climax run, became IWGP United States Champion, and delivered banger matches with the likes of Will Ospreay, Jon Moxley, and Kota Ibushi. On top of this, his 6'8" frame adds some much-needed size to the roster and unlike Wardlow and Jake Hager, AEW is diving right in with him.

There'll be no standing around in the background for months on end before finally stepping through the ropes. It sounds like big Lance will be making opponents dance from day one.
