12 Ups & 2 Downs For AEW All In 2023

3. Jericho Rolls Back The Years With The Aerial Assassin

To say Chris Jericho isn't what he was ten or even five years ago isn't an insult. Father Time catches up to all of us, and Jericho in the last few years has been a little bit slower than he was in his prime, as is to be expected.

Here, Will Ospreay was the perfect opponent to help the Ocho roll back the years and put on a fantastic bout in front of 80,000+ fans.

Was the Judas performance a tad self-indulgent? The naysayers would certainly say so, but thankfully it was a short rendition of the Fozzy track. And once the bell rang, Le Champion and the Aerial Assassin set about trying to steal the show.

Some would say Will Ospreay is the best wrestler in the world right now, and it's matches like this that help reinforce that notion. Was this the Match of the Night? Not quite, but Ospreay was on his most magnetic form, drinking in the home crowd and delivering as only Will Ospreay can.

This isn't to say Jericho was a passenger here, for the inaugural AEW World Champion brought it at every turn.

Bar one slightly ropey OsCutter from Jericho, this was another cracking match at All In, and it concluded with Ospreay nailing the Hidden Blade to his opponent's chin before putting him away with a final Storm Breaker.
