12 Ups & 2 Downs For AEW All In 2023

1. Best Friends, Better Enemies?

Oosh, wasn't MJF vs. Adam Cole just the best?

Having won the ROH Tag Team Titles on the Zero-Hour pre-show, questions were present as to whether Adam Cole could trust MJF, and whether MJF could trust Adam Cole, as the two got set to do battle for the Salt of the Earth's AEW World Championship in the All In main event.

When it came down to it, it was Cole who was actually the more heelish of the two, with Friedman having multiple opportunities to take shortcuts but not taking them. Whereas for Adam Cole, he was more than happy to take utilise such underhand tactics.

Of course, at their core, both MJF and Adam Cole are heels, and that made it great to question how things were going to go here. Where it did go, was Max rolling up his Better Than You, Baby with an inside cradle, which only came after the match ended earlier - and was restarted - with both pinning each other

There was the tease of a post-match attack by Cole and the Kingdom, but Adam would put a halt to that as he embraced MJF.

This was nuts, I'm tired after being up since 4:30am and it now being 11pm, so maybe more details will be added tomorrow. Either way, this main event delivered on countless levels, and it also keeps the Adam Cole and MJF 'thing' going for a little while longer.
