In the end, Cole and Max worked brilliantly together, putting on a sprint of a match against Aussie Open. Keeping things short, highlights were the Salt of the Earth hitting the Kangaroo Kick on Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher, and then Better Than You, Baby sealing the win after hitting the Double Clothesline on Fletcher for the 1-2-3.
Post-match, there was a smidge of tension as Cole and MJF went face-to-face with Max's title held aloft, but the two were still cordial, with Cole heading to the back and leaving his tag partner to soak in the Wembley cheers.
