AEW All In Don Callis Konosuke Takeshita

Some may have been hoping to see a Golden Elite win here, but Konosuke Takeshita pinning Kenny Omega was absolutely the right result.

By pinning Kenny, that holds off on the Cleaner getting any real revenge on Takeshita and, more importantly, Don Callis. This gives Callis something more to brag about, it gives Konosuke something else to have a spring in his step about, and it also paves the way for Omega vs. Takeshita at All Out next weekend.

Before we got to that that match-winning roll-up, the first half of the bout was based around the Takeshita, Jay White and Juice Robinson working down Omega and preventing him from tagging out of the match. Our trio of heels nicely targeted various body parts of Kenny's that have previously been known to be injured, with Callis emphasising this fact as he joined the commentary team.

Once Omega was able to tag out, the match kicked up an entirely different gear, with the action barely pausing for breath as all six men got to hit their big moves. There was also a nice dollop of classic King's Road-style stiffness to a particular exchange between Kota Ibushi and Jay White.

As for those big moves, the finishing sequence saw a Buckshot Lariat to Takeshita, a V-Trigger to both White and Robinson, before Takeshita rolled up Omega for the win.
