12 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Mar 11)

9. So... WarGames, Then?

Blood & Guts
AEW/Fite TV

AEW's Blood and Guts rules were revealed last night, and yeah. It's WarGames.

Two men start in the cage for a five-minute round before wrestlers start entering on two-minute intervals, building towards The Match Beyond. At that stage, a winner will be determined whenever someone submits or surrenders inside the closed-roof structures.

This is exactly what most were calling for, really. Innovation is nice and all, but you don't mess with a winning formula, and Cody, as a WCW disciple, was always going to go down the classic route. The name is different, but we're getting proper, authentic WarGames here, not the substance-devoid spotfests served up by NXT.
