12 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Mar 5)

6. Up Middle Finger

Hangman Page Matt Jackson
AEW

Make no mistake: Hangman Page will save his boys from a beatdown, but that doesn't mean Matt Jackson has his respect after their Revolution war. See the image above for proof.

This was some great sequencing. Dustin Rhodes saved QT Marshall from murder at Jake Hager's hands following their match, so the Inner Circle beat him down. Out came Cody, though his flurry of offense was thwarted by an Ortiz chairshot before Hager put him down with a massive slam. Cue: Hangman Page for the segment's biggest pop. He swaggered out with a beer in his hand a pep to his step, taking time to ensure his drink was safe before finally getting involved, swinging the pendulum back towards The Elite, wiping 'The Big Hurt' out with a particularly starchy Buckshot Lariat.

Hangman was exactly the right guy to come out last because of how over he is at the moment and while simple, this angle resonated. Big results from straightforward methods.
