12 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Oct 2)

8. MJF Shreds Brandon Cutler

Of course MJF emerged for his match with Brandon Cutler with a microphone in hand. Of course he bloody did. Not having the best talker in professional wrestling spit bile on Dynamite's maiden voyage would've been a huge mistake, and his takedown of his opponent and the DC crowd was rollicking. Short, but rollicking.

The audience absolutely hated Mr. Friendman here. He ripped the "poors" apart, claiming that it was their honour to witness a star being born that night, then turned his crosshairs on Cutler, running with the "loser" narrative he has been pushing throughout their feud. Then came the inevitable D&D burn: "Dungeons and Dragons may not be real, but what is real is the fact that I'm better than you... and you know it."

While these words don't look spectacular written down, they were delivered superbly. Now, watch him really break the internet when AEW give him longer than a minute.
