12 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dark (Oct 27)

5. Darby Allin vs. Alex Chamberlain

That Alex Chamberlain scored a bunch of offense against Darby Allin isn't a problem because the full-timer is such a great bumper and seller, plus the size discrepancy warranted the layout. It was believable. Still, Allin took the win after taking his beating exceedingly well, sandwiching a Stunner between two Coffin Drops before taking the pin another fun squash.

Ricky Starks suckered his rival into a trap afterwards. Brian Cage jumped Darby from behind as Allin distracted him, prompting Will Hobbs to run out for the save, setting us up for another tag match.

Good, effective piece-moving, and the tag could potentially serve as a warm-up for Allin's TNT Title shot at Full Gear.
