12 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dark (Oct 27)

3. Best Friends vs. Anthony Bowens & Max Caster

Max Caster Chuck Taylor
AEW

Anyone who wants to stay ahead of the curve needs to be following Anthony Bowen at the moment, as he has everything required to break out in a major pro-wrestling organisation within the next couple of years. Sadly though, his and Max Caster's bout with Best Friends suffered for its layout.

Trent and Chuck Taylor are a ranked tag team fresh off a title match with FTR. There was no need for them to spend so much of a bout against two enhancement talents on the backfoot, though this wouldn't necessarily have mattered if the action was good enough to justify the way-too-competitive layout. Sadly, it wasn't, and while far from outright "bad", this was another skippable clash.
