It was tough to rank the top three on this list, as any could have occupied the top spot.

Easily, one of the biggest negatives of 2018 has to be the horrible writing/booking we saw from WWE. Stilted pushes, overwritten segments, endless in-ring talking, contrived booking, poor storylines… you name it, it all can be tied back to the poor writing.

WWE has talented wrestlers who can entertain the fans. But if they’re booked to give 15-minute promos where every line is scripted for them, it isn’t going to work. If they’re booked to have a nonsensical finish that isn’t logical or followed up on, then it isn’t going to work.

If they scrapped half their writing staff and started over, that might address some of the problem. Of course, a lot of the problem could have to do with the man approving everything that goes on TV.
