12 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Royal Rumble 2016

9. The Right Team Won

Throughout 2014, the Usos were the best tag team in WWE. After years of toiling away as nobodies for several years, the brothers broke through and won the WWE Tag Team Championships twice that year. Unfortunately, they lost most of 2015 as a team when Jey went down with a shoulder injury, costing him six months. Having the duo back in action now only helps bolster the tag team ranks, and you can expect that they will be wearing tag gold again sometime soon. But thankfully, that wasn€™t Sunday night. The tag title match was fast-paced and fun, with a cool finish of Big E catching Jey off the top and hitting the Big Ending. That€™s not said to be disparaging to the Usos, but New Day really is the best team in WWE right now, and they are the ones garnering all the heat (both positive and negative) from fans. Their antics, with Xavier Woods getting involved outside the ring, both rile and rally crowds, and they€™re reaching a point where they will have to lose the tag titles, but more likely to a new team than to an older, more established team. To the point: It wasn€™t time to change horses yet.
