If you wanted to see Brock Lesnar run roughshod over the Wyatt Family and anything else that moved in the Royal Rumble, then you got your moneys worth Sunday night. Entering at #23, Lesnar tangled with the three members of the Wyatt Family in the match, eventually eliminating all of them single-handedly. He also tossed Jack Swagger in that span. However, Bray Wyatt brought the family back in later to decimate and then toss Lesnar, removing him from contention before Roman Reigns could return to the match. Just like that, Brock was gone from the Rumble, spending about seven minutes in the match. Worse, instead of charging back into the ring and destroying Bray and sending him packing, Lesnar simply walked to the back, accepting his fate. Giving up like that was completely out of character and just lame. It didnt make fans want to see Bray and Brock at WrestleMania, but thats what were probably getting. This would have been so much better had Lesnar re-entered the ring and tossed Wyatt, at least then making the feud personal. When in the blue hell has Brock Lesnar ever just accepted his fate? This is the same guy who rushed the 2004 Rumble when he wasnt in the match to eliminate Goldberg because of a backstage run-in. Apparently costing Brock a title shot doesnt reach that level of rage.
