Here's a reality that Vince McMahon should just consider as truth and keep as a long-term goal in the back of his mind: It's going to take FOREVER for the WWE Network to attract another million subscribers. Of course, by the time the WWE Network hits two million subscribers, they also would've figured out advertising on the broadcast platform, and when that occurs, it's a major game-changer for the future of the business overall. In 2015, the WWE Network is a daring brand positioning by WWE. By 2020, do expect that this will be the norm in broadcasting, and that Vince won't be alone in owning his own content AND having a platform where it all exists. Between HBO and other channels with unique content probably moving in the same direction, 2020 is the year when this concept explodes.
