5. Jason Jordan w/ Kurt Angle vs. Chad Gable w/ Daniel Bryan Will Be A Major Part Of Survivor Series 2020
You might've blinked and missed it this week, but Jason Jordan and Chad Gable didn't just set up their match versus The Ascension this week on NXT, they also set up a possible match against the World's Greatest Tag Team, which ultimately could lead to an eventual return of Kurt Angle not to the main roster, but instead to NXT. On this list, we've already laid out part of the build. Angle would already be in WWE by 2020, working as the manager of Jordan and Gable, who would win the rights to call themselves the "World's Greatest Tag Team" from Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. This would lead to a run wherein the tandem would distinguish themselves on the main roster, leading, of course, to a breakup. Their breakup culminating in say, a 30-minute Ironman match at Survivor Series 2020, would be awesome. Let's throw Kurt Angle protege Jason Jordan holding the IC strap into this, too. This would put pressure on cocky babyface Chad Gable to find a mentor, and that guy would be Daniel Bryan. This whole thing being something WWE could come back to in a million different ways over the next decade would be something worth watching. But it'd all start here.
