Rich Swann-ed his way out of WWE by mutual consent in February. His position within the company had became somewhat untenable after he was arrested on charges of false imprisonment and battery at the tail end of 2017. A month later, Swann announced his retirement from the business. Like all wrestling retirements, it was short lived, and he was back between the ropes as early as April. Since then, he's become a solid hand as part of Impact's creative revival - not that many people have seen it.
