This one is along the same lines as the Melina entry. British wrestling icon Doug Williams, a pillar of the UK scene since the mid-90s, will bring down the curtain on his in-ring work once he fulfils some bookings. By the end of 2018, it'll all be over.

Pro Wrestling Noah will get the distinction of hosting Williams' final match (against Yoshinari Ogawa) on 21 December. Then, one of UK wrestling's hardest grafters will finally get to enjoy some festive fun over Christmas with his family. We'd say he's earned it.

Doug, who had a hand in developing current NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis during his formative years in the industry, is 46 years old now. As tough as it'll be for him to walk, he's obviously thought long and hard about the decision.
