12 Wrestlers Without Direction For WrestleMania 33

5. Becky Lynch

It may be a case of timing over talent that sees Becky Lynch miss out on a powerful WrestleMania programme.

'The Irish Lass Kicker' was positioned strongly in the immediate aftermath of last summer's Draft, effectively anchoring the Smackdown Live Women's Division alongside Natalya and a host of more inexperienced talent.

Earning her stripes as a member of the fabled 'Four Horsewomen', Lynch had worked alongside Sasha Banks and Charlotte in leading the female league's march to credibility in 2016, so was unsurprisingly given the blue brand's version of the Women's Title as soon as it was established.

However, after dropping the championship to rising star Alexa Bliss at December's 'TLC' Pay-Per-View and conclusively losing rematches, Lynch has rapidly slid down the totem pole.

Naomi has gained the next title shot at February's 'Elimination Chamber' show, and Carmella, Nikki Bella, Natalya and Mickie James all make potentially credible opponents for 'Little Miss Bliss' at the 'Showcase of the Immortals'.

Though being made to wait your turn is a common occurrence in the wrestling industry, WrestleMania season is the worst time to have to do it. Lynch will have to hugely over-achieve in the next month to avoid being totally frozen out of the Orlando supershow altogether.
