12 Wrestlers WWE Must Build Their Future Around

3. Paige What Culture Aj Vs Paige

The internet wrestling community who watch NXT have been screaming for Paige to be called up to the main roster for close to a year now, and quite frankly, you can't blame them. Paige is solid in the ring, she's gorgeous, she is more than capable on a microphone and she is over with the audience, what more could WWE want? Paige is by far the youngest on this list at age 21, having made her wrestling debut at 14 years old. To my recollection, she is the only British female WWE have ever employed as a wrestler, and having seen the likes of William Regal and Paul Burchill either stereotyped or neglected over the years, it warms my English heart to see a fellow Brit enjoying some recognition. She uses an "anti-diva" gimmick, basically "kicking some Barbie arse" as she puts it. Unlike AJ Lee in the main roster, she is not seen as the great white hope of the divas division in NXT. On the contrary, they actually enjoy a decent amount of competition. Which means that when I say that to this day, Paige remains the first and only NXT Womens Champion, that statement actually carries some weight. The divas division is only going to great stronger with the talent they have waiting to be called up. Bayley, Sasha Banks and the daughters of Ric Flair and Eddie Guerrero all compete down in NXT, and we already have Natalya, Naomi and Summer Rae up on the main roster. AJ Lee might not be around for much longer, she always seems to be in trouble with the powers that be. But if she sticks it out, herself and Paige as the twin queens of the reinvigorated divas division is an idea I can get behind. Stop thinking that, you pervert.
