12 WWE Guest Stars Nobody Wanted To See

6. Drew Carey - Royal Rumble 2001

Mickey Rourke has some legitimacy stepping inside a WWE ring due to his performance in The Wrestler, but Drew, bless him, had no right stepping into one of the biggest events of the year. Carey somehow made his way into the Rumble after a tag team match between Lo Down and Kaientai on the preceding episode of Sunday Night Heat. Once he did enter, he was joined by The Hardy Boyz who proceeded to eliminate themselves. In what was a pretty entertaining spot in all fairness, Kane came to the ring and was offered cash by Carey, who would end up eliminating himself after Raven intervened an immanent a** whooping. Nevertheless, stars like Carey should never be afforded the opportunity to step in a match the magnitude of the Royal Rumble, only to make a mockery of a spot that could have gone to one of the hard working lower card guys that weren't getting a look-in creatively at the time. No one wanted to see what went down. If Drew took a couple of bumps at the hands of the Big Red Machine maybe his spot on this list could have been handed to someone else.
