12 WWE Matches We Must See In The Next 12 Months
3. Brock Lesnar Vs. Apollo Crews
In the three months since Apollo Crews has joined the main roster, he's been utilized horribly. His matches have come without fanfare, his victories have mostly been against prelim-level talent, and he hasn't been given many real storylines. The company likes to tout him as a future world champion, but just saying that isn't enough of a push.
Crews needs some immediate focus, and when he gets it, a match with Brock Lesnar shouldn't be far behind. Crews's strength and agility make him a truly multifaceted competitor, and that offense will allow him to be a believable opponent for "The Beast."
Lesnar, of course, will do his best to overwhelm Crews with wrestling and suplexes, but Crews could be in a unique position to counter Lesnar's game plan - for instance, he could flip out of a German suplex, grab Lesnar in a waistlock, and retaliate with a German of his own. After that, a standing moonsault would press his advantage.
It would be hard to put Brock Lesnar away, but if anybody has the arsenal to do it believably, it's Apollo Crews.
